Loved for its exotic and calming scent, this essential oil has anti-septic and skin clarifying properties.
Honey Myrtle oil has a sweet scent with a strong citrus back note, the slight undertone of honey adds a flamboyant finish to its strong aroma. The anti-viral properties may help you strengthen your immune system.
Blends well with Eucalyptus, Nerolina, Tea Tree, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Rosalina and Cypress oil blends.
Hazards: Drug interaction; teratogenicity; skin sensitization.
Cautions: Drugs metabolized by CYP2B6, hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin, children under 2 years of age.
Maximum dermal use: 0.9%
It's recommened that a dermal maximum of 0.9% is used to avoid skin sensitization. This is based on 66.5% citral content, with a dermal limit of 0.6%.
