Borage Oil is exceptionally high in gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid that plays a critical role in skin regeneration, barrier function, and inflammation modulation. It is often diluted at 10% Borage to 90% of another carrier oil due to its concentration and potency, making it perfect for targeted skincare or as an active component in more complex blends.
Recommended for aged, damaged, or irritated skin, Borage Oil may assist with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and allergic skin reactions. It should not be used during pregnancy, as it may contribute to premature labour.
