Our unrefined Virgin Andiroba Oil is from Brazil where its indigenous uses are for cut and wound healing and to ward off insects.
Avocado oil is generally used in carrier oil mixtures and due to its ability to absorb and penetrate deeply into the skin, it makes the oil excellent for particularly damaged skin. It is also high in oleic and linoleic acids (fatty acids).
Unrefined Virgin Black Seed Oil has uses dating back many centuries in the Mediterranean and Middle East regions with reference to skin and hair benefits. Also known as Black Cumin Seed Oil. or Nigella sativa Oil.
Jojoba oils properties closely resemble our own natural sebum which make it great for balancing the skin. It is also absorbed deeply into the skin at quite a fast pace.
Macadamia oil is deeply moisturising and highly emollient making it a great addition to facial and body moisturisers. Macadamia oil contains palmitoleic acid which helps promote younger looking skin.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is deeply soothing to the skin but only recommended at 10% in a carrier oil blend.
Our Virgin Pracaxi Oil from South America (Amazon rainforest areas) and has traditional uses against stretch marks and some skin infections. The behenic acid level is even much higher than Moringa oil at approximately 20% making it a superb moisturiser.
Sesame Seed carrier oil is not to be confused with the store-bought cooking oil! The carrier oil is very moisturising to the skin and can be used for massaging.
Wheat Germ oil is rich in vitamins and is an antioxidant. It’s best used in combination with other carrier oils which also helps to extend their shelf life.
