Steam distilled from the dried berries of Pimenta dioica, Allspice Berry Essential Oil delivers a complex and aromatic profile that’s as warm and comforting as it is vibrant. Its naturally spicy scent brings together the boldness of clove, the sweetness of cinnamon, and the heat of black pepper, making it a favourite in grounding blends, winter diffusions, and natural perfumes.

We’ve chosen the more refined and aromatic berry derived oil (rather than the commonly sold leaf version), not only for its superior scent profile but also because it contains less eugenol, making it gentler on the skin. Traditionally used to soothe muscular tension and bring warmth to the body, Allspice Berry has also been regarded for its emotionally invigorating qualities, a stirring oil that promotes courage, clarity, and inner heat.

Due to its potency, this essential oil should be diluted to a maximum of 0.15% for topical use. It is a powerful addition to spice blends, massage oils, or seasonal diffusions when used mindfully.

Uses

Diffuse to energise or ground a space, blend into massage oil at 0.15% dilution, or use in warming seasonal blends. Avoid topical use without proper dilution. This essential oil is anti coagulant, which means it can thin the blood. Avoid inhaling, using topically, or ingesting if using aspirin or other blood thinners, or before and after surgery. Avoid internal use with pethidine, MAOIs, or SSRIs. Do not use around your pets.

Shelf Life
Best used within 3 - 4 years. Store in a cool, dark place away from heat and sunlight. Refrigerate after opening to extend freshness.
