Bay Laurel Essential Oil offers a clean, spicy green aroma with soft camphorous undertones and a quietly uplifting energy. Distilled from the leaves of Laurus nobilis, this oil is not to be confused with Bay Rum (Pimenta racemosa), it has a gentler, more rounded scent and an entirely different chemical profile.
Historically, Bay Laurel symbolised honour and protection. In Ancient Greece and Rome, it was woven into victory wreaths for poets, warriors, and emperors, while also believed to hold prophetic powers. Energetically, Bay Laurel is said to promote mental clarity, inner strength, and courage, making it a beautiful choice for moments of decision making, performance, or challenge.
