Frankincense (Olibanum) Essential Oil is one of the oldest and most revered aromatics in history. Steam distilled from the resin of Boswellia carterii trees in Somalia, this sacred oil carries a woody bouquet with subtle citrus and lemony warmth. Each drop is precious, it takes roughly 100kg of raw resin to produce just 1kg of essential oil. High quality oil is derived from the lighter coloured resin harvested higher up the tree.
