A Midweek Reset
for the Nervous System

It’s easy to forget just how much stimulation we take in each day, from messages, news, and conversations, to alerts, expectations and to do lists. Even when we don’tfeelanxious, our nervous systems are often quietly carrying the weight of it all.

I think we all know someone living with anxiety, maybe it's a loved one, or maybe it's us. It shows up in different ways... racing thoughts, shallow breathing, tightness in the chest, or just that subtle hum of unease under the surface. And while there’s no one size fits all solution, there are small rituals that can help - simple, supportive things that signal to the body: you’re safe, everything is going to be okay, and you can rest.

Sometimes that’s:

• a quiet walk outside with no phone
• turning off notifications for a few hours
• reading a chapter of a book instead of scrolling
• stepping into a warm shower with the lights dimmed
• or just sitting still with your hand on your chest, breathing in something soothing

These little acts might seem small, but they add up, softening the edges, making space, reminding us to come back to ourselves.

It’s from this same place of intention that we created the Calm Aromatherapy Pack. A gentle way to help shift out of overdrive and reconnect to a quieter, more grounded rhythm.

One of my favourite parts of the pack is the Calming Face Mist. Lavender and chamomile come together in the most delicate, comforting way. It’s honestly one of my favourites, and the one I’ve reached for most. You’ll also find the Calm Roll On, for those anxious moments that show up when you're out in the world and need a quick grounding tool. The Serenity Body Wash turns your shower into something peaceful and restorative. And the Harmony blend is like an energetic reset. Something that helps cut through noise and gently clear the emotional build up. (It even comes with a mini diffuser lid so you can pop it straight in the bottle!)

We created this pack with the hope that it becomes part of someone’s ritual, a little offering of calm, whether for yourself or someone you know who's been carrying too much. As we reach the middle of another week, let this be your reminder to pause, reset, and take a moment for yourself. Give your nervous system space to breathe.

Someone once shared a simple phrase with me that’s stayed with me for years:

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or unhappy in any area of your life, make one small change and reassess tomorrow. Keep making small, subtle shifts until you feel ease again.

I think of that often, especially during times of overwhelm. It’s a gentle reminder that life doesn’t need to feel so heavy when we take it one  step at a time.
