Narcissus Blend: A Journey of the Heart.

Symbols and archetypes are ancient and powerful tools of transformation: tools as old as humankind itself. Each one bears a powerful message that is revealed, not through words, but via potent images that resonate with the energy of our own hearts.
Few are those who see with their own eyes
and feel with their own hearts.

Unfortunately, with the passing of time, many of these ancient symbols (and the traditions associated with them) were re-imagined in line with the changing politics and ideology of the day. The legend of Narcissus is arguably, such an instance.
The legend tells of a beautiful boy: one so beautiful, that he became enraptured by his own reflection in a pool. By comparison, the world had nothing so beautiful to offer him and ultimately, Narcissus wastes away and dies of unfulfilled longing.
It is a cautionary tale indeed: one that clearly warns against the 'sin' of pride and vanity.
In more recent times however, the meaning of symbols and archetypes was examined anew by great thinkers, such as Carl Jung. It was by viewing these tales from within a philosophical and psychological context, that it was possible to offer a radically different interpretation of these ancient tales and legends.
The Narcissus Legend Re-envisioned.
All Matter is an Illusion.

With this in mind, consider instead a scenario in which Narcissus is a 'seeker'. A 'seeker' who, when deep within a meditative state, asks the eternal question:
'Who Am I?'
As Narcissus gazes deep within the 'pool' of his own consciousness, he 'experiences' something so expansive ...... so magnificent ...... so beautiful ...... that there are no words with which to express it.
Narcissus is consumed, by the 'feeling' of unconditional love: an experience so compelling, that he is instantly 'transformed'. Once sensed however, there was no returning to his former self.
The old Narcissus was dead ....... replaced by something infinitely greater: something infinitely more beautiful: something infinitely more magnificent.
From this perspective, it is possible to re-envision the tale of Narcissus, the beautiful boy, as an archetypal tale: a tale of the journey towards enlightenment.
We can ask 'Narcissus Blend' to be our guide, if we too, choose to ask the question 'Who am I'?

The question posed by Narcissus is a universal question. It expresses the burning desire to experience our true self ......... that part of us that is unlimited and eternal.
Narcissus Blend is a soft, entrancing, yet powerful blend: ideal both for the seasoned traveller and for those who are yet to embark upon their journey.
As with any blend, Narcissus can only offer you that which you are ready and willing to receive. When you ask the question 'Who am I' Narcissus Blend will accompany on a journey you through the universe: whether that universe is 'limited' or the 'unlimited', is your to choose.
