Absolutes, Resins & Resinoids
Absolutes are produced by solvent extraction of the aromatic raw material. Absolutes dissolve in alcohol and usually in carrier oils but not in water. After the extraction process, the solvent is evaporated off, leaving behind a mixture of waxes and oils.
