There’s something interesting about the way we clean.
Most of us don’t think too much about what we’re actually using, it’s just what’s always been under the sink. A spray for this, a separate one for that. Strong scents that feel like they’re doing the job. But if you stop and think about it, cleaning isn’t just about surfaces. It’s about what lingers in the air, what touches your skin, what builds up over time. And this is where natural cleaning starts to shift the conversation. When carrier oils are mentioned, they’re often introduced in the context of essential oils. A base. Something to dilute with. A way to make essential oils safe for topical use. But that definition only captures a small part of what they actually are. When we open a bottle of essential oil, what we experience is fragrance - it’s immediate, vivid and concentrated.
